Shin'ichi huffed and spit a feather out as this woman Inari helped to get them out of his uniform. "That's quite all right," He told her as he picked the last few off. "Captain Hasegawa, pleasure to meet you too." He took her hand and shook it lightly, giving it a squeeze. "You must be the one Solomon talked about?" He went out on a limb, guessing who she was.

Solomon huffed and sulked like a child. Inari smiled and said, "Yep that's me. And Solomon quit sulking. You'll be let out tonight or later." Said Inari kissing his forehead. Solomon flushed beet red and said, "I'd rather go now. I'm really fine honestly." "No!" Said Inari firmly.

Shin'ichi grinned when this happened, and how Solomon got all flustered when being kissed infront of a Captain. He walked over, crossing his arms. "Haven't known eachother for long and she's all ready overprotective of you, Solomon. At this rate, you'll be married within the week!" He teased with a hearty laugh, knowing Solomon would get him back for this later.

Just then the second pillow smacked Shin'ichi's face and Solomon said, "Shut up!!" "Ow!" He yelped when Inari smacked him upside the head saying, "Apologize!" "Okay! I'm sorry! I'm sorry captain! Please don't hurt me Inari!" Solomon whined.

Shin'ichi had turned to go when he froze at the mention of a physical. "A P-Physical? Oh, don't worry about me, Inari. I'm fine." He smiled, though he wasn't facing them. He suddenly stepped a little quicker to get to the door.

It was then about nine other 4th division girls appeared in the door way giggling as they blocked his way. Solomon watched as the curtain was pulled shut in the center of their room and Inari had the girls lead Shin'ichi to the second bed in there. "Now now captain you can't run from us. Let us treat you." Said one of the women rubbing Shin'ichi's shoulders so good to a point he'd melt like better enjoying it. Another was checking his pulse and heart rate.

Shin'ichi froze upon seeing the other girls. He couldn't get physical with women, and he knew that nine were plenty enough to deal with him as they pulled him towards the bed and sat him down. One attacked his shoulders, massaging them. He was so tense from work even though he took plenty of breaks to avoid such stress. He groaned and decided that there was no point in it now, accepting being subjected to the physical.

Nearly an hour later the girls had finished up. They all giggled leaving. Inari smiled and said, "There now was that so hard? I bet you feel better." She pulled the curtain back. Solomon was obviously trying to sleep but failed to do so with the noise going on.

He fixed his clothing and pulled his tattered haori back on. "I guess so," He answered Inari. "I'll see you tonight." He nodded and went for the door again.

Shin'ichi smiled and stood as they entered. He went around his desk and embraced Inari, out of politeness that she was a woman. He stepped back and smiled again. "I'm glad you two could make it. We'll pick up Yuuka on our way." He offered.

"Sounds great." Said Solomon with a smile as they left. Once they picked up Yuuka the group headed to the Rukon and entered the bar. Solomon took his seat and smacked some money down saying, "Four rounds please." He smiled at the others.

Later in the evening as everyone had eaten and several cups of sake had been consumed, Shin'ichi was telling a joke to them when officers came rushing into the bar and upon spotting him, rushed over to the table.
The first officer, panting, spoke. "Captain Hasegawa! You've got to come quick!!" He panted again, standing straight finally. The other caught his breath as well now.
Shin'ichi blinked, looking over at Yuuka. He frowned. "Will you all excuse me?" He asked in a whisper, threw down his napkin and followed the officers out. The second one spoke now, explaining as they rushed back. "Captain Hasegawa," He started as they neared towards the seen with a large crowd standing around. "We just found your Third Seat, Miss Umeko, brutally murdered in the streets." He finished as they pushed through. He stood there, looking down at the mutilated corpse. No emotion showed on his face, shaking his head slowly.

"Move it!" Said a female voice and Inari came shoving through. Solomon was standing next to Shin'ichi when she came over. Taking a closer look professionally Inari said, "Instant death immediately. A direct hit to the Soul Chain and Soul sleep juding by the wound in her chest area and someone tried finishing their job by slicing her up. This is not any normal murder! Only a Shinigami from within the Seireitei would know how to strike the soul chain and soul sleep so efficiently!" "So you're saying this was done by a Shinigami?" Asked Solomon. "Exactly I won't know anything else till we actually do an in depth observation, but I can tell you that much just by looking at her." Said Inari. standing up she said, "Someone go contact my division right now! We need to get this taken care of and have this body taken away!"

Shin'ichi sighed as Yuuka pushed through and she clung to his thick arm. "What's goi-!" She had been about to ask what the fuss was about when she saw poor Umeko lying there. She buried her face into his uniform.
He sighed and pulled Yuuka closer, hugging her and rubbing her backside. "I'll take you home, Yuuka. I need to go to the office and get paperwork started for a new Third seat." He murmured, sounding unemotional about it as he stuffed it inside.
Later that night, after taking Yuuka home, he had gone back to the office as planned. He sat at his desk, staring at the form for a new Third seat and clutching the pen in his hand. After a moment of silence, the pen slipped from his hand and he buried his face into them, sobbing.

Just then a hand patted his back and Solomon said, "Easy there big guy. It's hard but it's going to be alright. I knew you'd break down so I brought Inari here to help you relax." Inari went ahead and rubbed Shin'ichi's shoulders deeply and said, "Just take a nice deep breath. Breathe in and breathe out nice and easy. It's going to be okay." Solomon wandered off to make some tea. He then sat across from Shin'ichi while Inari rubbed his shoulders to relax him.

"Go on cry it out captain. We won't tell a soul." Said Solomon shutting and locking the office door. He smiled and said, "There now no one else can see you like this." "Captain Solomon says you have a heart of gold you know that. He told me about your little fight with him but still that you're just a big softy and don't want to show it at times." Said Inari rubbing Shin'ichi's shoulders. Solomon gave a nervous laugh and said, "More like my ass is his property Inari. He saved my life at least once. I still owe for that. Me and my silly fears." Smiling Inari said, "I'll give you a shoulder rub after I'm through here Solomon." "Looking forward to that." Said Solomon hearing a shrill whistle. Going in the back he returned with the tea and poured some for Shin'ichi first. Sitting down Solomon said, "Her hands do wonders don't they Captain?"

Shin'ichi listened as they talked, but instead of crying again, he hit his desk and sent papers flying. It splintered the hard oak and he rose from Inari's grasp. "I," He stated, trembling. "I will find who did this, and kill them myself!" He declared angrily. He was not one to make idle threats.

Solomon who had fallen over stood up fast and grabbed Shin'ichi saying, "Captain please! I know you're angry but if you fight with that you'll only hurt yourself! Anger clouds your thinking and you know it! It's okay to avenge a fallen comrade but not with anger! Now please stop and calm down! You're starting to scare me now!" Inari rubbed Shin'ichi's back gently and said, "Maybe you should sleep on it captain. You'll feel better afterward."

Shin'ichi pushed Solomon away and went around his desk. "I can't feel better! Not until I kill the bastard that murdered Umeko!!" He declared again. "I want to see the look on his face as Densetsu Kirureru cleaves the head off his worthless body." He spat into the trashcan and stormed out of his office, and out of the HQ.

Inari and Solomon ran after him that moment. "I'm sorry... but this is for your own good captain." Said Inari appearing in front of him. Striking the pressure point on Shin'ichi's neck fast she knocked him cold and Solomon winced when he hit the ground hard like a log unconscious.

Shin'ichi woke the next day, after Inari's pressure-point attack from last night. He was still rather angry, and now his head hurt as well. He rubbed his temple as he lay there in bed, an unexplainable mixture of feelings brewing about; Confusion, anger, and sorrow as to what happened to Umeko that night. He sat up and threw the covers off, dressing in uniform that was laying folded neatly on a nearby chair while no one was in his room, intent on leaving.
